Apple’s “double-down” mystery

Apple’s “Double-Down” Mystery…

What in the world is going on at Apple?

“At three in the morning, they have deliveries.

It’s very dark, very secretive.

We don’t know what’s going on, but almost every night there is noise that wakes the dogs up,” Joann Porter said.

Those were the words used to describe the events at what is described as Apple’s “secret shell company.”

It’s an open secret that Apple is working on a self-driving car – code named Titan.

But what else are they working on?

The press is hounding them for details.

Forbes says, “[Apple] can no longer innovate.”

Why won’t they tell us already?!

Here’s CEO Tim Cook’s answer as to why you won’t hear about Apple’s next big thing through conventional channels:

To save you the trouble of clicking over, here’s what he said:

“We’re going to double-down on secrecy on products.”

That makes sense considering Steve Jobs threatened to “spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank to right this wrong” when Google decided to compete with Apple in the Smart Phone business.

So Apple is complete hush hush, but every now and then, people will connect the dots and figure out what Apple has up its sleeves.

The latest news is that under project “McQueen,” Apple is building a vast datacenter to cut its ties with Amazon, Microsoft, and Google where they currently spend hundreds of millions.

Adding to the mystery, Apple acquired Turi, a machine learning startup.

That makes 140 AI companies that have been gobbled up by tech titans since 2011.

I haven’t seen a buying frenzy like this since the dot-com boom in the late 90’s, and we know how many millionaires an billionaires were created in just a few years.

Clearly, the next BIG THING is artificial intelligence.

I’m talking about Siri on steroids.

Yet this is only a taste of what you will see in just a few years.

One company, Nvidia (NVDA), is up 198% this year alone as they shifted into supplying automated driving systems for the auto industry’s push towards self-driving cars.

They're also spending $2 billion in R&D to create a special chip made to simulate how the brain works. Initial reports are that it makes AI 30x more powerful than previous chips.

There is a true revolution going on right NOW that could make investors extraordinary wealth if they get into the right companies at the right time – like getting into Internet stocks back in 1995 before they took off like a rocket ship to Mars.
